Brokerage and sales

Selling in the right place.

Selling a ritual object means choosing the right interlocutor, the right moment and the right file. The practice puts its knowledge of the European market — acquired in Paris, Barcelona and Madrid — at the service of your sale.

Who it is for

  • Owners who wish to sell a piece or a collection.
  • Heirs who do not wish to keep the objects.
  • Collectors reorganising their collection.

How it works

  1. Prior authentication and valuation.
  2. Checking provenance and the lawfulness of the sale.
  3. Choosing the channel: gallery, auction, private sale, institution.
  4. Assembling the file: photographs, report, documents.
  5. Introductions, negotiation, follow-up through to settlement. A presentation to buyers is arranged with their agreement, in a confidential setting.

What you receive

  • An argued sales strategy.
  • A professional presentation file.
  • Support until the sale is concluded.

Limits and precautions

  • No price is guaranteed.
  • The practice refuses to act for objects whose export or possession would be manifestly unlawful.
  • Any conflicts of interest are declared in writing. See ethics.
Fees are quoted before any work begins and never depend on the estimated value. See fees and transparency and the step-by-step process. See also: valuation.

Frequently asked questions

Going further

Does the practice buy objects itself?

No. It supports sales to third parties: galleries, auction houses or collectors. The practice is paid a percentage agreed in advance and stated in the mandate.

How are your services paid for?

Terms are given in advance, in writing, before any step is taken. Any link with the sale is declared in the report. Brokerage fees are set out in the mandate before any step is taken.

Will my object necessarily be sold?

No: if conditions are not met — authenticity, provenance, market — the practice tells you and suggests waiting or giving up.
